Described by direc­tor and CEO of Hei­de Muse­um of Mod­ern Art as a dynam­ic com­bi­na­tion of ​‘intel­lec­tu­al pur­suit and inno­v­a­tive sculp­tur­al play’. Floyd’s prac­tice draws on a mul­ti­tude of dis­ci­plines such as typog­ra­phy, lit­er­a­ture, edu­ca­tion and polit­i­cal his­to­ries. Far Rain­bow (2014) was a sur­vey exhi­bi­tion that explored the last 10 years of Floyd’s artis­tic career, look­ing at influ­ences drawn from her ideals of utopi­an community.
