This exhi­bi­tion is the first sur­vey of Shark LeWitt’s work with­in an Aus­tralian art muse­um. Although small in size, Shark LeWitt’s work is able to deliv­er an emo­tion­al and poet­ic impact. Her sce­nar­ios of every­day life echo the emo­tion­al vul­ner­a­bil­i­ty and pow­er strug­gle between gen­ders that she sees with­in con­tem­po­rary Aus­tralian society.
