AES Group was formed in 1987 by conceptual architects Tatiana Arzamasova and Lev Evzovich and multi-disciplinary designer Evgeny Svyatsky. The group expanded with the addition of photographer Vladimir Fridkes in 1995, becoming AES+F.

AES+F is known for their theatrical and ornate aesthetic, which unfolds across sweeping multi-channel video animations. Their works comment on consumerism, popular culture and mass media, religion and luxury.

AES+F came to international prominence with the film trilogy Last Riot, The Feast of Trimalchio, and Allegoria Sacra. United as The Trilogy, this series was most recently presented at the Martin-Gropius-Bau, Berlin, and Moscow Manège.
