The wind blows where it will – over grass­land, through tree branch­es, open win­dows, bring­ing the unbid­den, the unplanned for. Air and light fill the open. Rich means sup­port poor means. The sol­id frames the emp­ty, the miss­ing, the poor, the holy. What can and can’t be seen, what is and isn’t there, are found to be much the same.


These works are part of Vivi­enne Shark LeWitt’s recent study into reli­gious pover­ty and pover­ty of spir­it in rela­tion to art prac­tice. ​‘Sine pro­prio’ refers to the Fran­cis­can form of life with­out ownership.
