Su san Cohn​’s exhi­bi­tion Pieces of Peace at Anna Schwartz Gallery from 20 May — 24 June 2023, weaves togeth­er two propo­si­tions: how jew­ellery could serve as a tool for mak­ing peace between peo­ple & how robot­ic indus­tri­al pro­duc­tion impacts hand­mak­ing in the age of automa­tion.

In part­ner­ship with NGV Mel­bourne Design Week, dur­ing the exhi­bi­tion Cohn will present a per­for­ma­tive artist talk, embody­ing a work­shop super­vi­sor, and invit­ing audi­ence mem­bers to attend dressed in workwear.



This project has been assist­ed by the Aus­tralian Gov­ern­ment through the Aus­tralia Coun­cil for the Arts, its arts fund­ing and advi­so­ry body.
