Introducing | Grace Davenport Selth | Director of Anna Schwartz Gallery

Anna Schwartz is excited to announce the appointment of Grace Davenport Selth as Director of Anna Schwartz Gallery. At the point of the accomplishment of the gallery’s forty year history as a leading protagonist of contemporary art, curation, ideas and publishing of Australian and international artists, Grace brings pertinent experience from her years at ACCA, her time at The Courtauld in London and at Carriageworks in Sydney. She is aligned with the uncompromised position of Anna Schwartz Gallery in dissolving the division between the public’ and the private’ in its practice and history of showing ambitious, unedited projects by the great artists of this time.

I am delighted to work with Grace, her professionalism, her commitment to artists and her support and innovation with collecting institutions and individuals are an enhancement of the gallery. She brings great optimism and sprit to the challenge of engaging the culture with the work of artists of ideas.” — Anna Schwartz

I am honoured to join Anna and the artists represented by Anna Schwartz Gallery. Anna’s dedication to the industry and the gallery’s conceptual position are unparalleled. I look forward to working with the team to support our vibrant community, to further critical discussion and fostering partnerships both locally and internationally.” — Grace Davenport Selth
