Read MoreFollowing an international competition, Australian artist Emily Floyd has been awarded a major sculptural installation that playfully engages with the cultural fabric of Sydney’s Curtin Place and neighbouring Australia Square. Part of the Adina Hotel development at 280 George Street by TFE Hotels and Johnson Pilton Walker (JPW) Architects, Open Space is a text-based installation that responds to the Modernism of Australia Square, Harry Siedler’s 1960’s icon of the International Style of architecture.
Emily Floyd’s project is produced in partnership with Monash University Art Projects and is curated by Amanda Sharrad.
