Abstract Labour

Abstract Labours fourteen painted aluminium letter-shapes, which spell out the work’s title, were designed to encourage interaction and act as a temporary library to inspire reading and discussion among museum visitors. Exemplifying Emily’s imaginative aesthetic focused on learning and play, Abstract Labour was unveiled at the time the exhibition Far Rainbow.
