Lives and works in Melbourne, Australia

 

Vivienne Shark Lewitt is a painter and cartoonist whose works feature astute wit and subversive humour. The artist investigates through the visual medium, art and literary histories, interrogating traditional assumptions through allegory.

Vivienne holds a Diploma of Fine Art from Tasmanian CAE, School of Art, Hobart 1978 and a Post-Graduate Diploma of Fine Art from Alexander Mackie CAE, Sydney 1981.
